The Virtual Worlds team is comprised of seasoned veterans with decades of experience in immersive entertainment and connections across the world.
Elliott is a producer and director focused on delivering hyper-realistic immersive experiences for both entertainment and enterprise clients. From ancient Egyptian tombs to operating rooms at the Cleveland Clinic, his work has been at the forefront of the immersive media revolution since 2014. Elliott led the production of photo-realistic tomb and artifact scans of Queen Nefertari, Ramses, and King Tut, which won the 2020 Lumiere Award for Best VR Education/Museum Experience, the 2020 Telly Award for Best Immersive & Mixed Reality Experience, and has been nominated for the Visionary Award at the 2020 Cannes Film Festival. Recently, Elliott’s film Machu Picchu and the Spirit of the Condor won the 2022 Lumiere Award for best overall VR experience. His award-winning VR experiences for artifact-based exhibitions have sold millions of tickets worldwide, creating a new, sustainable XR business model in the process that is now in its third iteration with the launches of Machu Picchu and the Golden Empires of Peru and Ramses The Great and The Gold of Pharaohs. Inspired by the intersection of technology, art, and neuroscience, Elliott’s work is concentrated on how VR and AR (XR) can enhance training, simulation, and entertainment.
Anthony is a distinguished figure in the museum and cultural exhibition industry. He previously served as the President of World Heritage Exhibitions, where he played a pivotal role in producing, promoting, and designing some of the most notable blockbuster exhibitions. Under his leadership, World Heritage Exhibitions successfully brought to life a series of high-profile exhibitions, including Ramses The Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs, King Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharaoh, Mummies, Pompeii, Machu Picchu, and many more. These exhibitions captivated millions of visitors globally, with the organization selling over 50 million tickets worldwide. Tann’s expertise and vision helped create immersive and educational experiences, integrating rare artifacts with cutting-edge technology such as virtual walkthroughs and immersive audio-visual presentations. World Heritage Exhibitions, before its acquisition by Cityneon Holdings, was a trailblazer in the cultural exhibition space. The collaboration between the two entities allowed for an even broader reach, bringing ancient history to audiences around the world. Currently, Anthony Tann is leveraging his extensive experience in the museum sector, where he continues to innovate and enhance the way cultural and historical exhibitions are experienced by the public. In addition to his work in the exhibition industry, Anthony Tann is one of the founders of Virtual Worlds, an award-winning immersive VR company. Through Virtual Worlds, he has further demonstrated his commitment to pushing the boundaries of how people engage with cultural and historical content, creating cutting-edge virtual reality experiences that captivate and educate audiences.
Mike Sheridan is the co-founder of Virtual Worlds, an esteemed immersive entertainment company renowned for its pioneering work in virtual reality applications for cultural heritage. Under his leadership, Virtual Worlds has garnered international acclaim, winning prestigious awards including the 2020 Lumiere Award for Best VR Education/Museum Experience and the 2020 Telly Award for Best Immersive & Mixed Reality Experience. Mike brings extensive expertise in managing partnerships with prominent entities such as the Egyptian Government, Jordanian Government, Carnegie Hall, and the Peruvian Government. His strategic leadership has propelled Virtual Worlds to global recognition, with their VR experiences captivating audiences worldwide and achieving millions of ticket sales. Virtual Worlds is embarking on a visionary Immersive Exploration Series of the Seven Ancient Wonders of the World.
Terry Crews is a renowned actor, designer, athlete, and overall polymath. His philosophy about virtual production, is that its cases and beyond includes a larger-than-life attitude hinging on this driving idea to “cut ties” with Hollywood. By creating Amen & Amen Studios, he built a space to be accessible and inclusive to the masses and partnered with 3D mapping in order to transcend not only film making, but also live events, exhibitions and educational services striving towards a one-of-a-kind mission to accomplish.
As the Former Executive Vice President and Chief Science and Exploration Officer for the National Geographic Society, Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere, and Deputy Administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Terry Garcia has more than three decades of public and private sector experience successfully leading large and complex organizations with global operations.
